Applause
Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 7 p.m.
Cornerstone Church, 1409 Palmer Park Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80909
What if you could experience a concert from the inside out? An informance pulls back the curtain on the music itself, weaving live performance with real-time storytelling about the composers, themes, and moments that make each piece come alive. Performers pause to share, demonstrate, and invite you in before the full performance unfolds. The result is something more than a concert. It's a conversation between the music and the audience that changes how you hear, feel, and remember it. Join us for this FREE concert featuring Fountain Creek Neighborhood Honor Choir and CSCC Prelude!

Pikes Peak Center - 190 S. Cascade, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
The American Soundtrack festival shines a spotlight on two titans of American music. Leonard Bernstein's Candide Overture dazzles, and George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess — featuring the voices of the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale — delivers songs that have become part of our cultural DNA. This is the music of a nation finding its voice — bold, soulful, and unforgettable.
Help Lead the Way to Our 50th Season
As we look ahead to the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale’s 50th anniversary, we’re inviting passionate community members to help shape our future.
Serving on the CSCC Board of Directors is more than a volunteer role—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on young lives through the power of music. Board members support our mission by sharing their expertise, extending their networks, and championing the joy, confidence, and belonging that our programs create for singers from across the region.
Whether you're an alum, a parent, a music lover or a leader who believes in the arts, we’d love to talk with you about what it means to serve.
Together, we can make our 50th season the strongest yet.
Interested? Reach out to Marcia Hendricks at marcia@kidssing.org—we’d be happy to connect!
